Daily Report - January 27, 2010

Highlights

Extragalactic Science
- Flare of PMN J2345-1555 (also know as IVS B2342-161 and 1FGL J2344.6-1554, z=0.621) a FSRQdisplaying a parsec-scale radio structure dominated by a compact core (MOJAVE source), typical for a faint blazar. Daily flux (1.0 ± 0.2) x 10-6 (statistical only) photons cm-2 s-1, representing a factor of about 25 times the averaged flux reported in the 1FGL catalog, and photon index 2.0 ± 0.1. Increased gamma-ray activity observed from January 20. ATel is to be submitted.
- PKS 0537−441 is back with daily flux about 0.4E-6.
- 3C 454.3 daily flux about 3.2E-6.
